Parents of young boys face a lot of choices in after-school activities: boys are all about fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. If your boy is about to enter first through fifth grade, Pack 55’s Cub Scouting program may be exactly what you are both looking for. Our parents and leaders work together towards turning boys into young men by developing their characters, citizenship, and personal fitness — but we do all this while having lots of fun and adventures in the process!

Speaking of which, Pack 55 organizes and participates in many events throughout the year, including several summertime activities. Some of our regular events include campouts, go-see-it trips to the USS Lexington, San Antonio Zoo, and NASA (among others), Report to State and 4th of July parades, roller-skating, bat-watching, Blue & Gold Banquet, the annual Pinewood Derby — plus many more!
